“love prevails”
In this work, the moon represents Ethiopia and the sun represents Tigray.
Despite Ethiopia’s ongoing efforts to eliminate the region of Tigray in its state-sponsored genocidal war, the spirit of Tigrayans historically allows the region to consistently trump invading powers. Tigray prevails because love prevails.
